Queen Wei is a Taiwanese Mandopop and rock singer-songwriter, actress, lyricist, composer, designer, author, and radio DJ. She was born in Fuli, Hualien, Taiwan, and holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising from Chinese Culture University (中國文化大學).

In July 2007, Wei made her debut on the second season of Super Star Avenue, performing her original song Silly (傻).

Raised by her grandparents after her parents' divorce when she was two, Wei comes from a musical family background. Her father, Wei Huai Liang (魏懷良), was a leader in the Bamboo Union's Taiji Hall. Her older sister, Waa Wei (魏如萱), was the lead vocalist of the indie band Natural Q, and her cousin, Kowen Ko (柯智棠), is also a singer-songwriter. Wei married Lin Chih Hung (林志泓) in 2022.

Wei co-owns Forgood Café (好多咖啡) in Taipei.

Throughout her career, Wei has been associated with several record labels and management companies, including Dynamic Music (動靜音樂) from 2016 to 2019), AsiaMuse Entertainment (亞神音樂) from 2011 to 2012, Universal Music Taiwan (環球唱片) from 2008 to 2009, Ren Du Er Mai (任督二脈) from 2011 to 2014, and Enoch Entertainment (伊諾娛樂,) from 2009 to 2010.
