Born in Yokohama City , Kanagawa Prefecture. In 1985, he joined the Japan Children's Theater Company. On October 26, 1990, while riding a motorcycle in Kawasaki City , he collided with a truck and died on the 27th without regaining consciousness. He was a close friend of Yoshiaki Takahashi , with whom he co-starred and who also died in a separate motorcycle accident in 1989.
