Fausto J. Galauran was a Filipino physician, writer and director. He was the first writer whose publication was paid for by Liwayway. In Literature, Dr. Galauran has won six First Prizes in poetry, four First Prizes in Life. He was the winner of the National National Literature of the year 1937. He was editor of the Story and Script Department of X-Otic Films before the war. He was also the Head of the Script and Story Department of Sampaguita Pictures.
