Before debuting, he was a trainee at Live Works Company between 2017 and 2018 and entered a few survival shows ("Boys24" and "MIXNINE") but was unsuccessful and decided to switch companies.
He made his debut in January 2023 as the group's leader, main dancer and main vocalist with their first mini-album, "8TURNRISE". They are managed by MNH Entertainment (MNH엔터테인먼트).
