In 2022, he entered the singing competition "Stars Awakening" produced by South Korea's Channel A and Japan's ABEMA. He was part of team idol who were declared the winners but was outside of the Top-7 so he could not be part of the project group called YOUTH STAR and later renamed N.SSIGN. Originally, n.CH Entertainment (n.CH엔터테인먼트) planned it as a 2-year project group, but after several discussions it was decided to make it a permanent one. He was added as a new member in early 2023 alongside Eddie and Robin.
He officially debuted as the group's lead vocalist in August 2023 with the album "Birth of Cosmo".
