Born in England to a British father and a Colombian mother, due to her father's work she spent her childhood between London and Italy , attending the English School in Rome and settling permanently with her family, at the age of fourteen, in Milan, where she later graduated from Bocconi 's Faculty of Business Administration.

She made her debut in 2002 with the film "A Journey Called Love" by Michele Placido, in which she played the younger role of Sibilla Aleramo, while the following year she appeared briefly in Lizzie McGuire the Movie.
