Before debuting, he was a trainee at Jellyfish Entertainment and was part of a pre-debut group temporarily called JELLY-I, which ended up disbanding before they had a chance to debut. Then, he moved to Mystic Story, where he was considered to be part of ARrC but was not chosen, so he decided to leave the agency.
In October 2024, he entered JTBC's survival show "Project 7", where he finished in 6th place, earning a spot in the resulting project group. They are managed by Uncore (언코어) and their contract is expected to last for 3 years.
He made his debut in April 2025 as part of CLOSE YOUR EYES with their first mini-album, "Eternalt".
