Shin Eun Jin, known professionally as Shin Mi Rae, is a South Korean trot singer and physical therapist. She graduated from Hallym Seongsim University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. She grew up listening to old legends Na Hoon Ah and Sim Soo Bong and she developed a taste for 1960s and 1970s music. As a teenager, she won the Grand Prize at the Chuncheon YMCA Youth Song Festival and the gold prize at the Chuncheon Soyanggang Maiden Song Festival. She dreamed of becoming a trot singer since childhood and eventually achieved that dream, but after her debut in 2004, he struggled with not having much work. To earn some money she studied and worked part-time as a physical therapist and in 2018 opened her Youtube channel. She participated in "National Trot Festival" and despite being eliminated just before the final round, she started to get noticed by trot fans. She married her non-celebrity boyfriend in 2022 after dating for 5 years.
