Kim Yong Bin is a South Korean trot singer. He graduate with a bachelor's degree in Asset Management from Kyunghee Cyber University. He made his debut in 2004 with the album "Debut Collection" and almost immediately was called a trot genius by many. However, after making several appearances on music shows both on radio and on TV, he disappeared from the industry. He returned in 2012 with his second album and later entered the show "Trot X" but was eliminated in the earlier rounds. In 2020 he participated in the show "National Trot Festival" and he revealed that he was absent from the industry for 7 years due to a serious illness that he was recovering from. He earned praises from the judges for his soulful interpretation and finished in 5th place. He is now trying to return to a more prominent presence on TV shows.
