Kang Tae Kwan is a South Korean traditional musician and trot singer. He graduated from Seoul Gugak Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in Korean Traditional Music from Chung-Ang University. He decided to challenge himself and crossed over from traditional music to trot music when he participated in season 1 of "Mr. Trot" in 2020. He was eliminated just before the final round and after the show he decided to join 3 other singers who ended up just outside the Top-10 and formed the project group Mister T. He is currently represented by Nextar Entertainment.
