Hwang Chan Seob is a South Korean ssireum wrestler. He graduated from Neungin High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Kyungnam University. He has quickly risen in the ssireum ranks after earning 3rd place in the 2019 Changnyeong Jangsa Ssireum Competition and winning the 2019 Jeungpyeong Ginseng Bae National Jangsa Ssireum Contest, both in the Taebaek Class. The combination of his looks and his skills have quickly given him the title of "ssireum idol" and TV variety shows are requesting him to appear.
