Dai Chao, born in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is a film and television actor in Mainland China and graduated from the Central Academy of Drama.

In 2010, he starred in his first movie, "Absolute Bottom Line", and formally entered the show business. After that, Dai Chao took a hiatus from filming due to academic reasons. In 2011, he represented the Central Academy of Drama to participate in the "13th Qiyue Recitation Art Festival and the 7th National University Student Recitation Competition" and won third place and the best organization award.
In 2013, he appeared in the thriller and suspense movie "Horror Cinema", which made his official comeback. After that, he won the Best Actor Award in the "International College Student Drama Festival".
In 2016, he played You Peng in the romantic comedy "My Amazing Boyfriend"; in the same year, he starred in the urban youth idol drama "Fifteen Years Waiting for Migratory Birds".
In 2016, he played Li Yunzhe in the urban emotional inspirational drama "Because of You". In 2020, he led the leading role in the costume myth drama "Heroic Journey of Nezha".
