His mother was a Korean immigrant, and his father was a second-generation Korean living in Japan. He grew up in Ikuno Ward in Osaka until nursery school, when he moved to Tennoji Ward. At the age of ten, Yoon moved to South Korea and went to a school for Japanese students. Later in Korea, he entered an American school, where he began rapping by freestyling in English with his friends. At the age of 18, he dropped out of the American school and transferred to a high school in Japan.
