He was chosen by Kids Planet (키즈플래닛) as part of their project to debut 2 child groups (boys and girls). He made his debut in November 2017 (using the stage name U.Win) as part of U.SSO BOY with their first digital single, "Let's Go Now". Unfortunately, the group disbanded less than one year later.
After spending more time as a trainee and doing some modeling and acting, he moved to Victory Company (빅토리컴퍼니) and re-debuted in March 2021 as NTX's rapper, lead dancer and maknae with their 1st mini-album "Full of Lovescapes". Originally, the group was going to be called NT9, but the agency decided to re-label it as NTX, an abbreviation for "Neo Tracks No. X".
