He was revealed as a new member in August 2019 but did not make his official debut until June 2021, when he joined as 24K's new main vocalist with their single, "Mainstreet". The group, managed by Choeun Entertainment (조은엔터테인먼트), debuted in September 2012 but underwent many lineup changes starting in 2014 as they struggled to find a steady fanbase and opportunities to promote. Even after his reveal as a new member, the group spent over 2 years on hiatus until he was able to record new material.
In November 2023, it was announced that the group (now composed of 5 members) was re-branding as 24K+. They re-debuted with the release of their mini-album, "Roller Coaster".
