He made his debut in October 2009 as one half of the duo DECEMBER under CS Happy Entertainment with the EP. "Dear My Lover". They were moderately successful, but he went through a serious case of vocal cord nodules and had to reduce his appearances significantly. The duo disbanded in December 2018 when each signed for different companies and now promote as soloists.
They decided to reunite in 2021 with the single "Love is Like Watching Stars With You" and, since 2022, he has been promoting using his stage name and also opted to use the duo's name for his activities. He is represented by Major9 (메이저9).
