Don Kantaro

In 2005, while performing in a local theater production in Nagoya, he collapsed and was hospitalized. A brain tumor and hemorrhage were diagnosed, and while his life was saved, he sustained physical disabilities. After extensive rehabilitation, he returned to the stage in 2008. Although a blog by Takahashi Kojiro (高橋浩二朗) suggests that Kantaro passed away around 2013, there is no official confirmation of his death.
