Jung Saem Mool is a South Korean makeup artist and businesswoman. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, USA. While studying, she found out about Japanese makeup artist Rumiko, who was in charge of makeup for Hollywood actresses in the 1990s, and how she created the trend of "transparent makeup" going from a thick foundation and dark lipstick to a white powder skin tone and bright lip gloss and decided to bring it to South Korea. She was in charge of actress Lee Seung Yeon for a drama and that allowed her to get other jobs thanks to her. She later was in charge of all the makeup for Chinese actress Tang Wei and that increased her popularity outside South Korea. In 1997, she opened her first store in Cheongdam and it immediately became a huge success and now has several stores in South Korea, Thailand and Japan. She married Yoo Min Seok, the CEO of an entertainment agency and he is now the CEO of the Jung Saem Mool Beauty cosmetic brand launched in 2015.
