Kim Jae Seok is a South Korean singer and former member of several groups including 4U, 7Dayz and Wanted. He debuted in 2002 as part of the R&B group 4U with the song "In My Heart". The group managed to promote the song and the follow-up song "Infinite" before disbanding due to lack of promotional activities or performances. Almost immediately, he joined the boy group 7Dayz with friends Jeon Sang Hwan, Seo Jae Ho, Ha Dong Kyun (now known as Ha Dong Qn), and Lee Jung. The band was not very successful as they had very different ideas of what type of music they should create and Lee Jung left. Kim and the other 3 decided to create Wanted and re-debuted with their album "Like the First" in early 2004. However, tragedy struck when in mid-August, Seo Jae Ho was killed in a car accident at the age of 22 causing the band to go on hiatus to recover. They returned after 3 years with the album "7Dayz & Wanted" and he began exploring the option of going solo in 2008 before releasing his first full-length solo album, "Kim Jae Seok of Wanted", in 2011. The group disbanded in 2012 after releasing "Vintage" and each member continued as a soloist with Kim focusing on his career as a producer and composer, but performing some OSTs for a few dramas every now and then.
