He made his debut as a child actor in 2002 with a role in "Magic Kid Masuri" (매직키드 마수리) and appeared in many dramas during his childhood and early teens. He then became a trainee and spent nearly seven years in several agencies.
He made his singing debut in November 2015 as SNUPER's leader, rapper and vocalist with their first EP, "Shall We."
After the group went into an indefinite hiatus in early 2020 when some of the members began enlisting in the military, Widmay Entertainment (위드메이) announced their disbandment in May 2023 when all members decided not to renew their contracts.
He made his theatrical debut later that year with a role in the play "Hangover" (행오버).
