He was convinced by fellow graduates (Do Hyeon and Seung Bin) from Seoul Arts University to join the band as the main guitarist.
He made his debut in December 2020 with the single "Blue" and won the 31st Yoo Jae Ha Music Festival. It was the first time in the history of the competition that bands were allowed to participate. In 2022, they entered the band competition show "Great Seoul Invasion" and won 1st place with the song "Alive".
In December 2023, Faction A Like announced his departure from the band due to personal reasons.
