He made his debut in December 2019 (using the stage name Jung Kwon) as part of PLATINUM78. The group had debuted in January as PLATINUM/P.L.T, but InMedia (인미디어에이앤디) decided to replace the entire lineup, and he was added as the new sub-vocalist, rapper and maknae. However, they never released any new material with him in the group, only being involved in their YouTube show. As a result, the agency decided to disband the group in early 2021.
He went back to training and appeared in a few survival shows, such as "Fantasy Boys" and "Fan Pick", and made his acting debut in January 2024 with a role in "The Debut Team" (데뷔조).
