Ko Jeong Woo is a South Korean singer. His parents divorced when he was only 2 years old and he was raised by his grandmothers who lived as "haenyeo" or women divers. As a result of living with them, he learned to dive and appeared on several TV documentaries like SBS's "Capture the Moment, How Is It Possible?" in 2013, KBS's "Screening Humanity" in 2014 and tvN's "Happy Farmers Season 3: Daenong Expedition" in 2019 where he even showcased his diving skills. He always liked trot music and he auditioned for "Superstar K7" but was not selected by the judges. In 2020 opened his Youtube channel before decided to participate in season 2 of "Mr. Trot" to honor the memory of his grandmother who loved trot music.
