Nam Myung Geun, known professionally as Nam Ho Yeon, is a South Korean comedian. He graduated from Seongnam Information Industry High School and did not attend college as he lost his father at a young age and had to help his mother. His childhood and youth was marked by poverty as he was raised by his mother and required some government assistance to manage their day-to-day lives. After joining a local gag hall doing stand-up comedy, he received the chance to debut in 2004 with a segment in the show "People Looking for a Laugh" alongside Lee Yong Jin and Lee Jin Ho. He also appeared in comedy shows on KBS and on MBC before returning to SBS. He endured the cancellation of many shows before settling as a regular member of "Comedy Big League" since 2020.
