Jin Uk is a South Korean trot singer and musical actor. He graduated from the National High School of Traditional Arts and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Music and Theater from the Seoul National University of Korean Traditional Music.

He first appeared on TV with a minor role in the drama "Tears of the Dragon" (용의 눈물) when he was 4 years old and later had a few more appearances in other dramas or movies.

In 2002, he won the 9th Nam In Soo Song Festival Youth Category Grand Prize and released his first album, "The Woman in My Dreams". After that, he nearly disappeared from the industry for several years while he attended school, only having one minor role and singing an OST for another drama.

After being discharged from his mandatory military service, he spent some time helping his family and later reappeared on TV by entering "Mr. Trot Season 2" in 2022. He impressed the judges with his soft vocals and creativity as he set up the choreography and stage for the group performance in the 2nd round. He finished in 6th place.
