Imase is a Japanese singer-songwriter, Youtuber and Tiktoker. He had no proper musical training prior to 2020 but began getting interested in composing and singing after a friend encouraged him to do it. In 2021, he began uploading his music to different social media platforms and, later that year, he signed a contract with Universal Music Japan's in-house label company, Virgin Music. He made his official debut at the end of 2021 with his 1st single album "Have a Nice Day", inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic. He released "Night Dancer" in 2022 and it became the first J-Pop song to feature in South Korea's Melon Chart and also it appeared on Spotify's most heard songs in 30 countries. So far, any personal information aside from his date of birth has not been revealed.

On August 6, 2025, it was announced that he would be taking a break from his activities for the time being.
