Kim Ji Yoon is a South Korean political scientist, Youtuber and current senior advisor at the Institute for Democracy and Academic Research. She graduated from Yonsei University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations and later obtained a master's degree in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She previously served as a research fellow at the Center for Quantification and Analysis of Public Opinion and as Director of the Center for Quantification and Analysis of Public Opinion at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. In 2018, she became the host of MBC's "100-Minute Debate" and was also a host of other discussion panels in both TV and radio. In 2022, she launched her Youtube channel with the show "Kim Ji Yoon's Knowledge Play" and quickly gained almost 500,000 subscribers.
