He made his debut in November 2010 as the group's vocalist with the single album "Dead Love", as part of the group created by ESJ Entertainment. They went on to release some more mini-albums in the following years, but they were never able to obtain a steady fanbase. The agency decided to disband the group in early 2015.
He then went on to become a soloist and a composer, and re-debuted in 2016 with the single "There Are Many Things I Haven't Done" and has also provided several OSTs for dramas.
In 2022, his single "Even If It's Not Me" placed 27th in the domestic song category on the Melon Annual Chart and was one of the preferred songs in South Korean karaoke bars. He is currently represented by Ravex (레이벡스).
