He made his debut in 2010 as a radio announcer at EBS as part of the program "Information Time". He also worked as an announcer at OBS Gyeongin TV and in 2011, he returned to EBS. In 2012, he decided he wanted to apply at KBS and passed the tests, becoming part of the 39th open recruitment at the network.
His dream was to broadcast sports and he was able to do it in 2018 as part of the team covering the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and later the 2020 (moved to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) Summer Olympics in Tokyo. In 2022, he became the new host of "My Neighbor, Charles" and is part of the KBS News Desk and other shows.
