He debuted as an actor in the 1935 film "Crazy". He is mostly know for his role in the influential 1937 film "Song at Midnight". He later became active as a producer & director.
Jin died in 1982 due an intracerebral hemorrhage. In 2005, in honor of the the 100th anniversary of Chinese film making, he was listed as one of the top 100 Chinese actors. Edit Biography
