Kim Ji Soo, known simply as Ji Soo, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress, model, and member of BLACKPINK (블랙핑크). She dropped out of high school but later passed the High School Graduation Certification Examination.

In 2011, she joined YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트) as a trainee after passing its auditions. The company had planned a 7-member girl group, but after several years of intense competition, the new group was formed with only 4 members.

Prior to her debut, she appeared as a commercial model and in several music videos. Then, in 2015, she had a cameo on KBS's "The Producers".

She made her debut in August 2016 as BLACKPINK's lead vocalist and visual with the mini album "Square One".

In March 2023, she made her debut as a solo artist with the single album "Me". In November of that year, she was invested by King Charles III as an Honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) alongside her bandmates during a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

In December 2023, YG announced that all 4 members renewed their contracts, and the company would only handle their group activities. She also decided to create her own label, Blissoo (블리수), to manage her individual activities.

In January 2025, she signed with Warner Music Group for her individual activities in the United States.
