Kim Do Kyun is a South Korean guitarist and member of the heavy metal band Baekdusan (백두산). He attended Yeongjin High School but dropped out to focus on his music career. He became interested in playing the guitar thanks to his cousin, and in 1980, he began playing in clubs in Daegu.

He soon moved to Seoul and formed the rock band CARTWHEEL (수레바퀴) when Baekdusan's leader, Yoo Hyun Sang, saw him and convinced him to join the band. He made his debut in 1986 as the band's guitarist with their 1st album "Too Fast! Too Loud! Too Heavy!" Soon after the 2nd album, he moved to England and worked together with legend Im Jae Beom, and they formed the heavy metal band ASIANA (아시아나). The band struggled to promote as the British agency went bankrupt.

He returned to South Korea and re-joined Baekdusan in 1999 while also working on other side projects and appearing in variety shows and music competitions as mentor/judge.
