Hwang Jin Seon, known professionally as Beige, is a South Korean singer and professor. She graduated from Incheon Hyosung High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Living Music from Dankook University. She made her debut in 2007 with the album "Something Like Beige Vol.1". She became known for her 2011 digital single "I Can't Drink" and has provided several OSTs for many dramas. She is a professor at Jeonghwa Arts University. In 2021, she challenged herself to release more music and created the "bi-weekly release project" with 2 songs every month for the first half of the year. She has also hosted a few radio shows.
