Yoo Hae Joon is a South Korean singer, lyricist, composer, former member of the duo CAN and current vocalist of the his own band. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Music from Seoul Arts College and a master's degree in Practical Arts from Dongguk University. He began his career as a composer when, in 1997, he was in charge of producing singer Park Sang Min's 4th album. Two of the songs he helped compose became huge hits and his reputation as an able producer and composer began to increase. The following year, he made his debut as a singer when he formed the duo CAN alongside Lee Jang Won. In 1999, he decided to stop working as a singer and left CAN to become a full-time producer and composer. He helped in the creation of many hit songs for Click-B, Boohwal's Park Wan Kyu, JK Kim Dong Wook, and also provided numerous OSTs for many dramas. In 2005, his song "Only One Love" was used as an OST for the drama "Lovers in Prague" and it became a massive success. He moved to Japan in 2007 to work as a producer/composer for many singers there and also worked as a music director for the Japanese-South Korean collaboration animation, "Winter Sonata". In 2012, he returned to South Korea and formed the Yoo Hae Joon Band and continues to release singles as well as provide OSTs.
