Han Woo Jae, simply known as Woo Jae, is a South Korean singer and member of co-ed group TYPHOON. He graduated from Kwandong University with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. He debuted in 2006 as the lead vocal of the group with their 1st album, "Troika". They released a second album the following year but female vocalist Sol Bi began having a busier schedule than her groupmates and could not participate in the group's 3rd album. After, discussions between the members, TYPHOON disbanded in 2010. He then debuted as a soloist and released several digital singles and collaborated with other artists. In 2018, he announced the group will reunite and release a remake of their single "So" with a guest member while they waited for original member Ji Hwan to come back from his mandatory military service. In 2023, they released a new single album titled "Why Am I Doing This?" now with all 3 original members back together.
