Jang Eun Sook is a South Korean singer. She graduated from Boseong Girls’ High School and later obtained a degree from Chung-Ang University Graduate School. She participated in the first-ever singing audition program, TBC's "Make of a Star", in 1975.

After winning the weekly and monthly year-end awards, she made her official debut the following year with the song "Millstone". She also worked as a model after debuting and, in 1981, made her acting debut with a role in the comedy movie "President Lee Ju Il of Ribbadong". In 1995, she moved to Japan after receiving an offer from Tora Records Company, and that year, she received the Japanese Cable TV Newcomer Award.

In 2006, she began re-appearing on South Korean stages and founded the entertainment agency Office Jangsu. She has also provided OSTs for several dramas, and in 2015, she served as the Executive Director of the Korean Singers Association. She does not appear much on TV, but several of her songs have become Top-10 hits in the music charts in both South Korea and Japan.
