Karuma is a Japanese actor. At age 16, he moved from Fukuoka to Tokyo with the dream of being an actor. He auditioned many times and gained five years of experience as an extra.

He continued to gain a small following, but he wasn't satisfied. He started a YouTube channel at 21 and since gained over 1.8 million subscribers. After success as a Youtuber, he had various agencies offer him a contract and chose Avex Management. Since signing with Avex, he has been appointed an ambassador for the men's skincare brand "Bulk Homme", commercial work including for the Galaxy X Flip4, and slowly gotten more named roles in dramas, TV and CM's.
