Bae Gi Seong is a South Korean singer, radio host, actor, and member of CAN (캔). He graduated from Dongrae Horticulture High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Broadcasting Entertainment from Busan Gyeongsang College.

He made his debut in 1991 as a guitarist and vocalist in underground clubs. In 1993, he entered the MBC University Song Festival and won the 2nd place with the single "Sunset Sea". However, his first two solo albums were a commercial failure, and he returned to nightclubs for the next 7 years, remaining mostly unknown at that time.

He formed the duo CAN alongside Lee Jong Won and made their debut in October 1998 with the album "Version 1.0". They were immediately praised by the critics and gained much popularity during the early 2000s. While they remain active, CAN has not released any new material since 2013. He has pursued a solo career and also ventured into acting. He now has a YouTube channel where he uploads cover songs periodically.
