Kim Han Joo is a South Korean musician and member of indie rock band SILICA GEL (실리카겔). He attended Gyeongin High School but dropped out and later passed the High School Graduation Qualification Examination. He then attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts but dropped out of the Applied Music program to focus on the band that was formed in 2013. They made their official debut in 2015 with their 1st EP titled "Pure Sun" in English (Korean title: 새삼스레 들이켜본 무중력 사슴의 다섯가지 시각). He is in charge of vocals, keyboard and guitar but all the band members can rotate positions as they also combine their music with VJ-ing.
