After accumulating experience in various special effects makeup and modeling companies, he established his own studio, C.U.L (Creation of Unknown Livings), in 1997.
His wife is the actress Kurosawa Asuka, and he is the father of three children.s selected as the closing film for the Midnight Madness section of the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival.
