Inoue Akiko is a Japanese screenwriter and novelist based in Tokyo. She also writes under the pen name Kanehiro Aki (鐘弘亜樹).

Inoue comes from a family with a screenwriting background; her grandfather, Inoue Katsumi, and her father, Inoue Toshiki, were both screenwriters. She began writing stories as a child and initially pursued a career in publishing after studying under Kobayashi Kyoji at Senshu University. However, after receiving positive feedback on a short story from her father, she decided to focus on writing. In 2013, while still at university, she debuted as a writer under the name Kanehiro Aki with the novel "Kamen Rider Decade: The World of Tsukasa Kadoya - The Miniature Garden in the Lens."

Inoue's work on the novel adaptation of "Futari wa Precure" led to her screenwriting debut with "Maho Girls Precure!" in 2018.
