"May" Apizsara Praisin is a director born in Surin, Thailand and based in Bangkok. She studied film at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang before going on to study film directing at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, USA.

May began her career working in post-production, producing commercial films for countries throughout Southeast Asia. After winning the first prize from MOFILM London, she decided to launch her career is a film director and relocated to Los Angeles for a time. There, she studied and interned at All in Films Production Company.
