Chen Ting is a Taiwanese actor, dancer, and TV host born in Taipei, Taiwan. He is affiliated with Xinghan International Media Co., Ltd. (星瀚國際傳播有限公司) and Sanlih Entertainment (三立藝能).

He studied dance at Guoguang Arts School (國光藝校) and later attended National Institute of the Arts (國立藝術學院) after transferring from Chinese Culture University (文化大學). During his time at Guoguang, he interned with Cloud Gate Dance Theatre (雲門舞集).

After graduation, he worked as a dance instructor on film sets and participated in stage performances. While coaching actress Stephanie Hsiao (蕭薔) for the TV drama Dreams Link (一簾幽夢), he made a cameo appearance, which led to acting opportunities through his friend Chang Chien (張倩). He later transitioned fully into acting.

Chen married actress Chen Chieh Ying (陳潔瑩) in 2007. They have one son and one daughter.
