Lee Hwi Joon is a South Korean announcer. He graduated from Dongguk University with a bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. He made his debut in 2016 when he began working at a regional station, Kwangju Broadcasting Company (KBC). In 2017, he joined MBC as a contract worker with the promise that he will be made full-time employee in one year. However, MBC's president was dismissed in late 2017 and the new administration did not honor the promise and he was fired after his contract ended. He sued for wrongful termination and won the lawsuit in mid-2019 and was re-instated as part of the network #2 announcing team. He has worked at the news desk and was also part of the alpine skiing coverage of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
