Yoo Chul Sang, known professionally as Kim Ban Jang, is a South Korean musician, former member of bands SISTER'S BARBERSHOP (언니네이발관) and ASOTO UNION (아소토 유니온) and current member of band WINDY CITY (윈디시티). In 1993, he began planning the creation of an indie band alongside Lee Seok Won. He debuted in 1996 as the drummer for SISTER'S BARBERSHOP with their 1st album "Pigeon is a Rat in the Sky" (비둘기는 하늘의 쥐). However, he began having creative differences with Lee and decided to leave the band after the album was completed. He then joined other bands as a guest musician for around 5 years.
In 2001, he formed ASOTO UNION which integrated more R&B, reggae and funk music. Their 1st album, "Sound Renovates A Structure" proved to be quite popular. However, once again, creative differences between the members forced the band to split in two.
He created WINDY CITY In late 2004 and one song, "Lover's Rock", was included in a compilation album. The band officially debuted in early 2005, releasing their 1st album "Love Record". He is the vocalist, drummer and leader and the only member of the original lineup who remains in the band.
