Onoda Isamu was a Japanese screenwriter and playwright born in Yotsuya, Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Chuo University in 1941. He was a member of the Tokyo Broadcasting System Drama Group. He also had achievements as an actor. His son, Onoda Masashi, is also a screenwriter and director, and his grandson, Onoda Hikaru, is a poet and photographer.
