Kang Won Rae is a South Korean singer, dancer, and former member of CLON (클론). He graduated from Gyeonggi High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Theatrical Arts from Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University and a master's degree in Physical Education from Myongji University. He debuted in 1990 as part of HYUN JIN YOUNG AND WAWA where he and Gu Jun Yup were the WAWA. The trio was not very popular and, following Hyun Jin Young's arrests for drug possession, they decided to become a duo. In 1996, the pair debuted as CLON and released their debut album, "Are You Ready?", which proved to be extremely popular.

However, in 2000, he suffered a serious motorcycle accident which paralyzed him from the waist down and ended his career as a dancer. The duo disbanded but made a comeback in 2005 with their 5th album, "Victory". Afterwards, Gu continues to promote as a solo artist (DJ KOO) and the duo occasionally meets for promotional events. In 2017, they released the single "Bamdeelalila" featuring Ailee. He now travels the country talking about adjusting to living with a physical disability. He is married to singer Kim Song.
