Park Hee Joon is a South Korean karateka. He graduated from Pusan National University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and later obtained a master's degree from Kyonggi University. He began his career as a child and has 3rd-degree belts in taekwondo, kendo, and karate. He made the news in 2011 and 2012 when, in two separate incidents, he saved a woman from being robbed and assaulted and another woman from being sexually harassed. He was chosen for the national team and made the 2012 Asian Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and won the bronze medal in the team kata competition. He became the first South Korean to win a medal in individual kata getting the bronze at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta.
