Hugo Ng is a Hong Kong actor and singer born in Singapore, who immigrated to Hong Kong, China. Originally named Ng Gwai Ngon (吳瑰岸), Hugo officially changed his name to Ng Doi Yung (吳岱融) before entering the entertainment industry in the 1980s. He returned to Hong Kong in 1987 to develop his career where he is now a contract artiste managed under Shaw Brothers and TVB.
