Kawai Boccha was a Japanese actor, singer, and broadcasting personality. His real name was Akimoto Yoshio (秋元 喜雄). After graduating from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he worked as a mathematics teacher at his alma mater, Akasaka Junior High School.
